Included Does Not Mean Identical

Most all-inclusive resorts begin with accommodations, meals, beverages, and some activities. From there, the experience can change dramatically.

One resort may include a straightforward beach vacation while charging separately for transportation and excursions. Another may include airport transfers, destination experiences, or access to major attractions. A mountain resort may even include lift passes and group ski lessons.

The most inclusive resort is not automatically the best choice. The best value comes from paying for inclusions you will actually use.

What the Word “Included” Still Does Not Tell You

Quality

Included dining, drinks, rooms, beaches, and service can vary significantly in quality.

Access

An included restaurant or activity may require reservations, have limited hours, or be restricted by age or room category.

Choice

Some resorts include nearly every venue. Others include a core selection with premium alternatives available for an added charge.

Convenience

An inclusion has less value if timing, transportation, resort layout, or availability makes it difficult for you to use.
